lyrics

"Hello, my love"
Said Paris on the walls of Troy
"Your countrymen have come
But they won't take away my prize"
Then he kissed her swollen lips
But Helen didn't speak
She stared right through him
At a line of bows drawn by Greeks

They let go
And hail hit Paris' side
He let go
And Aphrodite cried
Helen stood alone, eyes dry

"Hello, my love"
Said Menelaus on the walls of Troy
"For ten years I led Greece's sons
To die for you, my wife"
Then he raise his heavy axe
For the justice the gods demand
Helen brushed blood from his cheek
With a tender trembling hand

And he let go
Axe clanking to the ground
She let go
Dropped her Trojan crown
And they embraced
To end the war, without a sound
